I agree, the hassle is worth it - even as I was holding a screaming baby at security in JFK on Sunday, with one hand trying to open the stroller, watching the bags roll through the conveyerbelt and replying to ground staff calling my name as our flight was closing... despite that, I came home and booked flights to Paris straightaway! The more you travel with babies, the more they understand what's going on. Ours loves NYC. That may be because her parents love it and we're in fab form just being there, it could also be the noises, smells and great parks everywhere that fill her senses... she also likes our cottage in Donegal where there is nothing to do but watch the cows. A good mix is the best thing & "whatever works" (for parents and babies) is my motto!
