SAS reward little people through their Frequent Flyer progamme

(11 Sep 2008)

Scandinavian Airlines have decided to to scrap the age limit for EuroBonus membership.
More than a million children fly with SAS every year, and now they too can earn frequent flyer points. SAS have scrapped the age limit for EuroBonus membership, which means even infants can join their frequent flyer programme so long as they have permission from a parent or guardian.

Children will be treated like all other members with SAS and will be able to earn and spend points on flights with SAS Group airlines and Star Alliance, as well as hotel stays with their partners around the world. After all, why should grownups have all the fun?.

Kids will have the same benefits as adult members with those who rack up enough points for Silver or Gold membership benefiting from extra services like waitlist priority, extra luggage and much more.

Scandinavian Airlines offers children up to 15 years of age a 33% discount on all air fares to Scandinavia. SAS distribute games and toys suitable for children of all ages making flying with SAS that bit easier for stressed parents. Families can check-in online 22 hours before departure at no extra cost - meaning they can sit together.

SAS flies twice daily from Dublin to Copenhagen and operate six flights a week to Stockholm and five a week to Oslo.

Well done SAS and keep it up!
