Ireland has a wealth of fantastic family friendly facilities and things to do and see with the kids for a great family holiday but lets face it the weather does seem to let us down sometimes. Given the weather we have had in Ireland this summer parents taking a holiday at home do need some indoor activities to keep the kids busy on rainy days.
For those staying at home or planning some day trips there are still some great rainy day activities and all weather events if you know where to look. Here are a selection and we are building on this each week. Please let us know on the forum if you have any family friendly rainy day activities.
Try also your local tourist office, local library, local art centres or galleries and county councils all who run great family events but sometimes do not publicise them too well.
